Spend 1 or 2 full days discovering the neighbouring islands and attractions of the Quirimba archipelago in Baobibo's 9-meter dhow (traditional sailing boat) with highly experienced captain and crew. The boat is equipped with an outboard motor (30hp) should there be insufficient wind to sail.

Swim with dolphins and enjoy exquisite snorkelling, sundowners on the deck, great food and comfortable amenities at Baobibo's 'Dez Coqueiros' campsite on Matemo Island, exclusive to our guests.

Departure from Ibo after breakfast, go search for dolphins, continue for gorgeous snorkeling at the wreck (if weather allows), picnic lunch at the sandbank or on the south beach of Matemo (tide-dependent), lazing and swimming. Return to Ibo late afternoon, shortly before sunset.

The first day is similar to above “round around” but the travel continues past the sandbank to Baobibo's 'Dez Coqueiros' safari camp on the North-West tip of Matemo Island. Explore the natural beauty of indigenous bush and birdlife, unspoiled rugged coastline and shady secluded beach, and enjoy a cold drink watching the sunset while the team sets-up the camp and prepare dinner.

 

Departure from Matemo the following morning, after breakfast, for the Island of Rolas. Beautiful snorkelling, pic-nic, more lazing around and swimming, and return to Ibo for an arrival late afternoon.
